A Special Day

Today, I'll tell you about my high school memory.
When I was a high school student,
I belonged to volleyball club.
Actually I like to play volley ball,
I wasn't good at playing volley ball, so
I didn't belong to volley ball club until 2nd grader.
But, one day, my friend ask me to join the club
because the club had few people,
so they couldn't participate in tournaments.
At that time, I lost interest everything,
so I decided to join the club.
But, I was bad at playing volley ball,
I was distressed everyday.
Although I made an efforts, I didn't come to well.

Our team had a tournament after 2 months.
I got tense because I put everyone to trouble.
I thought what I could do for team.
My storong point was a serve,
so I decided to develop my techinque.

At the tournament, we fought with strong team,
which is No.1 in Tottori.
Oue team(school) had never won that team,
on the contrary, my school had never got 1set from that team.
But, we got 1set from that team at a new member tournament!!
My service rotated at the critical moment.
I got a tense, but I could get in a successful serve.
My serve lead to get 1set from strong team.

This happening made my confidence,
so that day is a special day for me.

I think that certainly technology is very useful,
but it has many negative effects.
John said negative points of technology on his blog.
I have a private blog, most of my friends also have it.
Friends of mine and I posted many articles.
Some people posted someone's abuse on their blog.
I think that doing so is very sad things.
If a person who was said bad things see the blog,
a person feel very sad, and feel angry.
Now, there are many murder cases caused by such things.
Even a boy who is a elementary school's student,
he kills other person. It is very sorrowful thing.
Many people use Internet, but it sometimes frightening.
Although people have developed technology,
I think that is not always good for us.

Gossip girl

This story maybe not globalization...
but for me, it is a kind of globalization.
Thesedays, I'm crazy about an American drama "Gossip girl".
Although I am a SIS student,
I was not interested in foreign films.
(Actually I saw the movie "SACT"etc...)
But, my senior advised me to see the foreign movies,
I decided to do so.
At first, I was puzzled which I choose.
Ultimately, I chose "Gossip girl"
because This drama is very famous and popular, and
my friend also likes this drama.
Though I didn't know What is this story like,
I came to love this drama rapidly.
The story is young celeb's story.
pretty make, beautiful dress, house, habit, food,
character's personality, expression, and so on...
All is fresh for me, and it was very impact on me.
I got many knowlege of America (especially NY)
from this drama.
In fact, the drama is a fiction, I know.
But, I think seeing the foreign movie is
an entrance of cross-cultural communication,
by extention, globalization.
